Members of the Club shared why they became a Rotarian!

The Club started a membership campaign for the month of August which is shared on the our social media platforms. Members of the Club were asked to provide a short video on why they became a Rotarian

District 7020 Governor Elect Louis Wever said: “I became a Rotarian to do service above self in our community, the district and internationally. Rotarians serve by doing projects or sponsoring financially. One of the biggest projects is End Polio Now, and we are showing the World that together we can eradicate Polio Worldwide. Right now, there are only two countries remaining. Being a Rotarian, you will be proud when you see the results and that’s the power of Rotary.”

President Grace Linger said: “My parents taught me to help others whenever I can. And, as an adult I wanted to continue. In 2016 I got the opportunity to join the Rotary Club of Sint Maarten - Mid Isle. This was my chance to continue serving my community.”

Membership Director Quincy Lont said: “I am a proud member of the Rotary Club of Sint Maarten - Mid Isle. I became a Rotarian as it’s a great way to meet new people and at the same time being of service to the community in which you live.”
