THE ROTARY MID ISLE INDUCTS TWO PROFESSIONALS
On December 18, 2021, the Rotary Club of Sint Maarten-Mid Isle inducted two new members at its annual Christmas Dinner. Joining Rotary Mid Isle are Ruth Linger and Natalie Humphrey. The inductees took the oath and were sworn in by Past President/ Secretary Jon Hart.
 Ruth Linger, sponsored by Immediate Past President/ Service Projects Director Grace Linger, is the Senior Project Manager of the Division of Education Innovations from the Ministry of Education, Culture Youth and Sport (MECYS), and her classification within Rotary is Education.
Natalie Humphrey, sponsored by District Governor District 7020 Louis Wever, is the Assistant Dean of Community Engagement at the American University of the Caribbean (AUC).
 After completing the membership plan, both professionals were identified as great additions to the club. From the onset, they made themselves available to assist with projects, attend meetings, events and fellowships. The members of Rotary Mid Isle look forward to serving humanity with them onboard. Each new member was pinned by their sponsor amongst members, family and guests who cheerfully congratulated them during the ceremony. Once again congratulations to Rotarian Ruth Linger and Rotarian Natalie Humphrey, and welcome to the Rotary Family.
Furthermore, Former Rotarian Dr. Sonia Meade- Swanston was welcomed back as an Honorary Member of Mid Isle. Honorary Membership is the highest distinction that a club may bestow on members who have distinguished themselves by meritorious service in the furtherance of Rotary ideals. Honorary Member Sonia was pinned by District Governor (DG) Louis Wever. Congratulations Honorary Member Dr. Sonia Meade- Swanston.
