The Rotary Club of Sint Maarten- Mid Isle, donates  check of USD $1.000 to the Island Hoops Foundation.
 
 
 
 
 On December 11th, 2021 the Rotary Club of Sint Maarten- Mid Isle, donated a check of USD $1.000 to the Island Hoops Foundation. Island Hoops is a not-for-profit Foundation, which was founded in 2015. Island Hoops is in the business of skills development training. Taking Sint Maarten basketball to the next level. Currently they are raffling a brand-new Hyundai I10, in collaboration with Motor World and the Rotary Club of Sint Maarten- Mid Isle. The funds will be used for much needed basketball equipment and materials.
 
Present at the presentation were Immediate Past President (IPP) Grace Linger and President Elect (PE) Quincy Lont. Representing the Island Hoops Foundation to receive the check were Island Hoops Founder, Paul Bell and Alisia Wilson. This presentation was possible because a generous donation of one of Mid Isle’s Honorary Members, Willem Barendsen.
 
The representatives from the Island Hoops Foundation expressed their gratitude for assisting the foundation with the car raffle and financially.
 
 The Rotary Club of Sint Maarten- Mid Isle would like to wish the Island Hoops Foundation much success, and we hope that they can continue their good work in the community for many more years to come.
