The Club hosted its first Reading Under a Tree Project by the Residence of Mrs. Bernadine Van Veen!
The kids that attended also brought some of their own books which were read in both English and Dutch! The kids were also encouraged to read their books out loud
The benefits of encouraging children to read are:
- Vocabulary growth
- Brain Development
- Empathy & Emotional Regulation
- Imagination & Critical Thinking
The event was enjoyed by all who participated! The kids who attended also received goody bags
