On August 25th 2026, we had a Joint Zoom meeting with the Rotary Club of Anguilla!
President Grace welcomes the Rotarians and Guests present and President Carolyn introduced the Guest Speaker, District Membership Attraction Chair Nerissa Persaud!
District Membership Attraction Chair Nerissa thanked both of the Clubs for asking her to be the guest speaker of the night!
She explained to us that the invitation for joining Rotary is powerful, not just come to the meeting/Club but when you invite someone you can say how you see them in Rotary
We heard many intetesting stories of how current Rotarians were invited into Rotary!
It was an impactful presentation and interactive!
Guest Speaker Nerissa said that we encounter extraordinary people all the time, and it’s important to notice the people around you and what they can bring to the table instead of only thinking of membership recruit
She also said it’s important to keep bridges open as people go thru different stages in their lives and this can also affect in the way they can contribute
Towards the end of the meeting, President Carolyn did the vote of Thanks and the presentation of the certificate of appreciate to the Guest Speaker Nerissa!
