Past President Yvette read to the students of the Martin Luther King Primary School (class of Tr. Lacroes) for the group 8 class!
The books read were of a compilation of various stories. There was a story of Nona, a 16 year old girl who was chosen to go back in time to obtain information regarding the slave trade of 1633 and the cruelty to human life during that period.
It was an interactive session with the children and they were asking questions regarding the story. PP Yvette even included drama to emphasize certain sections and bring the story to life!
